• the nation that once ruled the world;

• the nation that God used to bring about “the fullness of time” for the birth of His Only Son;

• the nation whose soldiers crucified Jesus Christ;

• the nation that persecuted and brutally murdered the first Christians;

• the nation where, according to many biblical scholars, numerous future and final events of Revelation will be fulfilled.

Should we ignore one of the very nations that has such past, present and future significance for all mankind?
